Layouts
» Making a layout isn't easy; it takes time and patience. Don't choose really bright colours for your layout as it can strain your eyes. Try to choose matching colours, 2 or 3 colours should be enough. Dark colours can be effective as they stand out more than light colours. A rainbow coloured layout is eye catching too.
» Being original with your layouts will interest your visitors, so try to create unique layouts different to other sites.
CSS
» Your CSS has to match your layout, so use the colours on your layout. Don't make the colours of your text and links really bright as it's hard to read.
» Make sure your CSS is compatible in all browers (Internet Explorer/Firefox). You can get your CSS validated here.
Content
» Visitors would be interested in good quality graphics and resources. Try to have alot of content for your visitors to browse through.
Stealing
» Stealing will get you nowhere. The only path to success is believing in yourself and making your own content.
