I-Frames
» First of all, make an I-Frame layout and upload it to an image host.
» Make a left.html, main.html and right.html page and upload them to your site.
» Open up a new page in Notepad and copy and paste the code below into it.
» Change "LAYOUT URL" to the URL of your layout.
» Open up Paint, go to File >> Open and open up your layout. Select this tool:
and outline your whole layout like this. If you keep your finger on the mouse, you should see some numbers on the bottom right of Paint like this.
» The number outlined in red is the width of the layout, put that number where it says "WIDTH". The number outlined in green is the height of the layout, put that number where it says "HEIGHT".
» Change "URL OF LEFT FRAME" to the URL of your left frame, "URL OF MAIN FRAME" to the URL of your middle frame and "URL OF RIGHT FRAME" to the URL of your right frame.
» In Paint, select this tool again:
and outline your left frame like this. If you keep your finger on the mouse, you should see some numbers on the bottom right of Paint like this.
» The number outlined in pink is the left of the frame, put that number where it says "LNUMBER" next to left. The number outlined in blue is the top of the frame, put that number where it says "LNUMBER" next to top.
» The number outlined in green is the width of the frame, put that number where it says "LWIDTH". The number outlined in red is the height of the frame, put that number where it says "LHEIGHT".
» Do the same with the middle and right frame and save it as iframe.html, then upload the file to your site.
» Open up a new page in Notepad and copy and paste the code below into it.
» Change "WIDTH" to the width of your layout and change "HEIGHT" to the height of your layout, with the same numbers in the first code, don't delete px. Put in your site URL and save it as layout.html, then upload the file to your site.
» Now go to http://www.YOURSITE.com/layout.html and you should see your coded I-Frame layout.
